EMERGENCY services are undertaking enforcement work in response to concerns about organised crime in Cleeve Prior.
West Mercia Police officers are in attendance today (Wednesday July 19) at Evesham Road, Cleeve Prior, to support partner agencies undertaking enforcement activities at the location.
Worcestershire County Council, Wychavon District Council, Western Power, Hereford and Worcester Fire Service, RSPCA and TV Licensing are amongst the other representatives.
Policing commander for South Worcestershire, superintendent Kevin Purcell said: "This is a large scale partner-led initiative in response to community concerns around organised crime in the area.
"The disruption of organised crime groups remains a priority for West Mercia Police and we are working closely with our local and regional partners to deliver a strategic, coordinated approach to protect our local communities."
Chief inspector James Baker said: "This was a pre-planned operation and we would like to reassure the Cleeve Prior community that there are no security concerns for the local area."
