RAMBLING club members travelled to Jersey to wander around the island.
Evesham Rambling Club travelled to the Channel Islands and completed a demanding 50 mile trip around the island in six days.
The 33 members who travelled went through great deal of up and down along coastal paths, in hot weather.
The route took them past a series of World War II fortifications as well as a number of structures dating back to the Napoleonic Wars.
The island’s north coast provided spectacular views of cliffs and bays with small fishing villages.
On one section the group were able to visit a wetland reserve where they were treated to a flypast by a rare Marsh Harrier.
Now members are looking forward to 2018 when the club is planning a midweek walking break on the south coast and a trip to Romania to walk in the mountains of Transylvania.
Evesham Rambling Club organises three walks each month.
