1700 homes hit by powercut
A POWERCUT in Evesham caused 1700 homes to be without power.
Western Power Distribution (WPD) has Tweeted about problems in the WR11 area and say that they should be sorted by 9pm.
Around 1700 customers were hit by the disruption at 19.17 with 1200 already restored to haivng full power.
A WPD spokesman said that there is an engineer trying to restore the supply at the moment.
People on the Facebook group Spotted in Evesham say that they are experiencing problems with the Merstow Green and Hampton areas of the town.
