Eveshan man in court charged with historic rape of girl under 16
AN EVESHAM man appeared in court charged with rape of a girl under 16 and one attempted rape also on a girl under 16.
Alan Wilson, aged 68 of Coombefield Road, Wickhamford also faces three charges of indecent assault on a girl age-under 14-years-old, and with one-charge of indecent assault on a girl under 16.
Wilson appeared by video-link at North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Carlisle
The seven-allegations are from various `historical` dates ranging from April 13, 1978 to December 1, 1980, the court list show that the allegations took place in Carlisle.
Wilson entered not-guilty pleas to the allegations, and will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court on April 3.
He was granted conditional bail until then.
