RIO is a special two-year-old black boy who needs a home with understanding cat lovers.

He is described as a nice cat who likes being stroked under his own terms. He is currently in the care of Worcester and District Cats Protection.

A branch spokesperson said: "Rio has put up with a lot in his little life and at some stage he has had damage to his back. This causes him some discomfort, so he is on long term medication, which could be funded by Cats Protection.

"He is not suitable to be homed with children. A mature family would be ideal for Rio, so he can have a warm bed and some love and be a companion."

If you would like to offer Rio a home, please call the branch on 01905 425704.
