A BROADWAY man who drove while over the alcohol limit in Cheltenham has been banned from driving for a year.
At Cheltenham Magistrates Court last week Mark Cotterell of Colletts Gardens pleaded guilty to driving on Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham, in a Vauxhall Astra estate on February 17 with 40mcgs of alcohol on his breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
As well as the one year driving ban he was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £25 surcharge.
He was told he can reduce his ban by three months if he takes a Government approved driving course by October 5 this year.
