AN Evesham event will commemorate 100 years since the First World War finished.

The Evesham Wartime in the Vale Show is setting up ready for the star of the show, the world famous Guy Martins MkIV Replica Tank Deborah II will be in town.

Organiser Amy Jelfs said: "It has taken some work to pull it off but we are absolutely delighted they opted for are show over others, and to top it off we were awarded a partnership from the Imperial War Museum for our efforts with the WWI Centenary Display."

The show also includes Second World War re-enactments, over 500 military vehicles as well as tanks both from wartime and post-war.

A Battle of Britain Memorial plane will fly past, a Spitfire with a working Merlin engine, a horse-drawn First World War wagon, a life-size Second World War camp and a field full of Living History displays will also be on show.

Stalls will be selling parts, collectables, uniforms and militaria of all shapes and sizes.

The event takes place on Saturday June 16 and Sunday June 17 at Ashdown Camp in Ashdown Farm, Badsey, Evesham from 10am until 5pm.
