A PLAN has been submitted for Evesham's first micro pub.

The proposal, for an empty shop unit in High Street, features bottled beers, ciders, spirits and wines to be sold but drinks will not be available on draft.

The ground floor of the unit is currently split into two shop units one half being a beauty and nail parlour, the other being a curios shop.

The micro pub will be called The Spirit House.

The proposal is to provide a quiet and relaxing venue for socialising.

The opening hours will be restricted to Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 10pm.

The proposals within this application are to convert the shop, Spiritus, into a drinking establishment and coffee/ tea shop.

A free standing bar is to be introduced for serving alcohol and teas and coffees.

The proposals within the application are to change the use of the building from its existing curios shop use to a drinking establishment themed on the existing use.
