A TALK will give people advice on coping with sight problems in their daily lives.

Sight Concern Worcestershire is holding a skills for seeing talk on Wednesday, October 24, starting at 2pm, at St Mary’s and St Egwin’s Catholic Community Centre (behind the church) 118 High Street, Evesham WR11 4EJ.

The talk on skills for seeing will be delivered by a guest speaker from the Macular Society. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, affecting over 600,000 people. Skills for seeing is a training course offered by the Macular Society which may help you to use your vision more effectively which could help with reading, taking care of yourself, getting about and watching TV.
