ONE of the oldest residents of the Vale of Evesham has passed away at the age of 102.
Florence Annie Bishop, known as Ann died at Salford House Care Home in Salford Priors on October 17.
Mrs Bishop who was from Eastwisk Park, Evesham, had lived at Salford House for the last three years.
She first came to Salford Priors aged 14 to care for her grandfather and great uncle.
In 1937 she married Walter Bishop and moved to Ridgeway, moving back some years later to renovate the cottages she lived in as a teenager. Mrs Bishop retired to a bungalow in Linfield Road, Eastwick Park, Evesham.
Mrs Bishop was a keen gardener and enjoyed foreign holidays well into her eighties.
She is survived by her children Pam and Keith and their families.
