PERSHORE College is inviting anyone interested in finding out about school leaver courses, apprenticeships and degree programmes to an open day this weekend.
The event will give visitors a chance to look around the college’s specialist facilities, speak to expert staff and talk to students in order to get the advice and guidance needed to decide which course or apprenticeship is right for them.
Pershore College has a long history as a centre of horticultural excellence and it also has a specialist animal centre which offers a range of courses in animal welfare and veterinary nursing from Level 1 right through to honours degree.
The state-of-the-art Agri-Tech Research Centre houses the electronic, robotic and computer-based technologies that are used to educate students on the modern applications of agri-tech.
The college also trains apprentices in land-based service engineering. The event takes place on Saturday, from 10am-1pm. For more information, go to wcg.ac.uk/openevents
