A WOMAN has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash between a car and a lorry.
It happened on the A46 Evesham Bypass near the junction of Elm Road at just after 2.00pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
An ambulance, a paramedic officer were sent to the scene along with the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham with a doctor and critical care paramedic on board.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Ambulance staff worked with firefighters to rapidly extricate the woman from the car, which had been badly damaged.
“She was treated at the scene for serious injuries before being airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
“The man driving the lorry was understandably shaken but was unhurt.”
