A NEW communication tool helping elderly people has been launched by an Evesham company.
Senecto Ltd has launched the new tool, Amba Communications Service, to help family and carers stay in touch with elderly people.
Neil Fyfe, from the firm, explained the service is designed to be easy to use for people who may problems with technology or who may have cognitive difficulties.
Mr Fyfe said: "The company was founded to help address some of the issues around loneliness and the care needs of the millions of elderly people who live alone in the UK.
"Five of the founding members each have a close relative who suffers with dementia.
"Amba has been designed from the ground up, to be easy to use for people who may struggle with technology.
"Amba is an easy to use home device which is always switched on and keeps people in touch with their loved ones and carers, who can use their PC’s, tablets and smartphones to communicate."
