NET: Growers United FC in 2013
GROWERS will receive a special visit from a host of charities that have been helped by a collective.
Representatives from Cancer Reseach UK , Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Heart Reseach UK , Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospital, a local food-bank and a others will meet growers from Growers United FC, to thank them for the clubs generous donations over the past year.
Growers United Football Charity (GUFC) aims to raise funds for charities and communities whilst also promoting horticultural and agricultural activities within the Vale of Evesham region.
Over the past few years GUFC have raised £160,000 for a number of charities.
On March 19, the amount raised in 2018 for all the charities will be announced.
