A SPATE of thefts took place in Sedgberrow yesterday. (Monday, February 18)

At around 1pm, a man approached the victim when he was returning to his van on Winchcombe Road, and asked if he had any plasterboard, the man was in a dark blue Toyota 4x4. Upon returning to the van, the victim found that some sort of bar had been used on the back and a twin set of Makita drills had been stolen with the battery and charger. Another van had the handle broken on the side door, it is unknown at this point whether anything was taken from the second van.

Also around 1pm on Winchcombe Road, a gold Picasso vehicle pulled up behind victim's van and opened the van door, when victim went out and questioned the driver he shouted at the victim and then went off. The victim then saw the driver stealing from a new housing site further down the road.

Between 5pm on Sunday and 11am yesterday, someone approached a parked car on Millfield, Sedgberrow and removed the front and rear number plates from the car by unknown means and left the scene.
