GOALKEEPER-turned-striker Dan Harris lashed in a hat-trick as threadbare Worcester City Wanderers saw off Worcester Saints reserves in the Phipps Cup on Sunday.

An availability crisis saw Wanderers turn to their regular between the sticks who showed his colleagues at the other end of the pitch how it should be done with a first career treble.

In our picture game of the weekend, Grosvenor Sports toppled Eaton reserves 3-2 thanks to strikes from Darren Palmer, Jordan Roan and Ivan Meneses.

There were goals galore as Kempsey Colts United won a nine-goal thriller 5-4 against Worcester Saints with Daniel Rowberry and doubles for Joe Morrall and Nathan Owen doing the damage.

Droitwich Spa Eagles beat Lower Teme & Martley Athletic 2-0 thanks to goals from Ethan King and Will Clutterbuck.

In the league, FC Malvern continued their Division One title push with a 4-2 victory over Colwall St James.

Joe Bates and Luke Tomkins kept FC United of Worcester in contention with a 2-0 win over Malvern Vale.

At the bottom, Eaton edged out PT Eagles 2-0 thanks to an own goal and a second half penalty from Paulo Anacleto. Drakes Broughton Rangers beat Lower teme & Martley 4-2.

The only game in Division Two saw leaders Colwall Wanderers open up an 18-point gap after beating Hornets 3-1. Second-placed Droitwich Spa BGFC Rovers do have five games in hand, though.

Powick kept themselves in contention for the Division Three title with a narrow 4-3 victory over Drakes Broughton reserves. Leon Roberts, Kieran Smith, Joseph Spencer and Kevin Tyler were among the goals.

Lower Teme & Martley reserves won 2-1 at Malvern Radar 2-1 to move up to fourth.
