FOR the first time in their nearly 30 year history, the charity Herefordshire Growing Point were invited to create a show garden at the RHS Malvern Spring Show.
Although not formally judged, the garden was clearly enjoyed by everyone that came to find out about the charity and learn more about horticultural therapy.
Called 'a snapshot of Herefordshire Growing Point' the garden was laid out as a map of the county with all the residential homes the charity visits and the support offered at their base in Holme Lacy.
Most importantly, everything in the garden from the model of the River Wye to the fields of potatoes and the cuff crutch planters were made with the help of disabled and vulnerable people.
The charity would like to thank their many sponsors, volunteers and all those that made the garden such a success.
