A COFFEE shop held a special event for the 75th anniversary of D Day.
Manager of Coffee #1, Pershore Graham Burgess said: "No one seemed to be doing anything in Pershore so we decided to go a bit crazy. We dressed up in military uniforms and got some music from the 40s."
Local musician and Coffee #1 employee Will Charles performed songs and took requests. The staff served cream teas.
Mr Burgess who served in the Faulklands War said: "It was a good day and very well received by customers."
"We are planning to do something next year for the 75th anniversary of the end of the war."
The Normandy Landings took place on June 6 1944, known as D-Day. Around 10,000 allied soldiers were killed.
