DOGS and their owners would be barking mad to miss Dogs Trust Evesham’s Fun Day.

Taking place at Ragley Hall in Alcester from 11am-4pm, on Sunday (June 30) the event promises plenty of fun and games for everyone including the ever-popular Fun Dog Show with classes including: best veteran, best puppy and best rescue dog, so make sure your four-legged friends have their paws at the ready. All proceeds from the day will go towards the continued care of residents at the Rehoming Centre.

Other activities available at the Fun Day include have-a-go-agility, a tombola, the grand raffle, various stalls and refreshments. The team would be grateful for any donations for the raffle and tombola, as well as anyone wanting to lend a paw and volunteer to help.

Dogs Trust Evesham supporter relations officer, Shauna Stedman, said: “Everything we do is for our rescue dogs and we hope you and your four-legged friends can join us on the day and show your support. We can promise you a really fun day out for all the family, with lots of activities available throughout the day.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the hounds in our care as the proceeds from the day help us to care for dogs like six-year-old Terrier Max, currently staying at the Rehoming Centre.”

Max is a bright, inquisitive and spirited lad who prefers to be busy and put all of his energy to good use. He will need an active lifestyle, and would like his new owners to be around for most of the day.

Entry is £5 and under 5s are free. For more information contact Shauna Stedman on shauna.stedman@dogtrust.org.uk.
