The 2019 Plum Princess and her attendants have been crowned in a ceremony which took place at the Plum Blossom event at the Angel Hotel on Sunday

Taking the crown in the company of Festival favourites, Queen Victoria, and mascots Prunella and Eggbert in what was described by the head judge, Claire Pemberton-James as the closest fought contest in the history of the Festival was

10 year old Rosie Jones who attends Abbey Park Middle School in Pershore.

Her attendants for the year will be Sophie Middleton aged 9 from Cropthorne with Charlton 1st School and Caitlin Doel, also aged 9 from Holy Redeemer School, also in Pershore

Plum Festival events organisers said “ we were delighted to welcome so many young ladies to this years’ event and thank them and their families for their tremendous support.

We would also like to thank all our generous sponsors, without whom this event wouldn’t be possible.
