All five exhibiting artists of an indoor art and outdoor sculpture exhibition will be available to meet with and chat to as they showcase their work at the historic Walled Gardens at Croome Court, near Pershore, Worcestershire.

The exhibition of jewellery, paintings and garden sculpture will open on Friday 9th August, with an opportunity to meet the artists on Saturday 10th August. The Meet the Artist event will run from 11am through to 5pm.

Worcester's Kate Wrigglesworth is one of the exhibiting artists. Kate, whose paintings are refreshingly vibrant, says: “Whilst my designs aren’t overtly feminist there are influences that come from traditional crafts created by women.”

Kate has made several visits to the gardens in recent months to study the colours and beauty of the gardens, of which there is an abundance, and has resulted in one of her paintings in the exhibition being very much inspired by the gardens.

The exhibition will also include the work of contemporary jewellery designer and member of the Worcester Guild of Contemporary Craft and Silver Society of Oxford, Ali Tregaskes, Stroud based outdoor artist Darren Rumley,

who explores concrete as an art form and who's work has been commissioned for Chelsea Flower Show by triple gold award winning Sarah Eberle, and Claudia Petley and Paul Shepherd who work together to produce metal wildlife sculptures, capturing the character

and movement of each creature brilliantly.

All jewellery, paintings and sculpture will be available to purchase. The exhibition will run until Sunday 29th September, when the gardens close for the winter.

The exhibition is the third and final exhibition to be held at the Walled Gardens at Croome Court this year. Owners, Chris and Karen Cronin, are keen to promote and support both local and national artists and the gardens have provided the

perfect backdrop for the exhibitions.

As well as viewing the exhibitions, visitors can; explore the gardens, learn about the extensive and ongoing restoration project, walk through the tunnels, and visit the shop which sells an array of gifts.
