Good causes have benefitted from lottery funding.
£700,000 of National Lottery funding has been awarded to 35 community projects in Worcestershire.
Eckington Church of England First School has been awarded £10,000. The school will use the funding to install new playground equipment. The project aims to create a leisure and outdoor activity space for young pupils.
Upton Snodsbury C of E First School has also been awarded £10,000 The school will also be installing new playground equipment. The project aims to enhance the play facilities available to the community.
Overbury Village Hall also been awarded the same sum. The funding will be used to refurbish the village hall, which aims to make the hall appropriate for hosting modern activities.
