KEY Stage 2 pupils at Peterchurch Primary School started the autumn term with a visit to Goring’s potato farm in Dorstone.
Carol and James Goring organised a fantastic day for the children during which they learned about about potato farming and had the opportunity to experience some of the machinery used in the process of growing potatoes.
At the end of the visit the Gorings gave the children a free bag of goodies to take home as a reminder of the day.
The visit was an amazing start to the autumn term topic, This Farming Life, and has inspired the children to learn more about farming in the past and the present.
