A CRAFTY volunteer has been bulk buying goodies for this year's Shoebox Appeal which will give children from poor countries the chance to receive a Christmas present.

Carey Ratcliff' is a volunteer with Teams4u Shoebox Appeal. All year she makes and sells cushions to raise money to buy fillers for the shoeboxes which go out to children in Eastern Europe during November.

This week she purchased almost 2000 packs of toothbrushes and over 1200 packs of soap to add to the Christmas boxes.

Morrisons Evesham community champion Theresa was happy to support with a 20% discount.
