ORGANISERS are getting excited for Evesham Mop Fair.
The fair will see stalls and rides light up Evesham High Street.
Organiser Edward Danter said: "It's a traditional fair. It is an important fair going back hundreds of years. It is one of the biggest calender events in Evesham. Everyone looks forward to it."
"Thousands of people come to Evesham and the pubs and takeaways all benefit from it. The town has a busy weekend."
"It is one of the old traditions and it brings fun and enjoyment to young and old. You can just look at all the lights and music and you don't have to spend a penny if you don't want to."
The traffic through the centre of Evesham will be altered from 7pm on Wednesday 2 October to the late hours of Saturday 5 October/early hours of Sunday 6th October.
The Fair takes place from October 3 until October 5.
