A NEW era dawns for Kington U3A with a change of officers at the helm.
Both the secretary and the treasurer have served the group for many years.
They have decided the time has come to take a back seat.
Their roles will be filled by two recent new members.
Barbara Johnson is handing over the membership and secretarial duties to Judith Bevan.
Judith's husband Rod is taking over the finances from Ros Hanscombe.
Barbara and Ros have done an excellent job for many years which has been greatly appreciated by the members.
They were given a vote of thanks and presentation at the September meeting in recognition of their service.
Members all hope that they will be able to enjoy many years of U3A activities without the worries of their responsibilities.
