Catch up with the legendary Paul Jones and Dave Kelly at Pershore Number 8, and get the blues in a good way.

But what does this mean?

A spokesman said: "A live acoustic set by this duo is an occasion you’ll remember. If you’re a true blues fan, everything you need is here.Ruggedly durable, the blues is perhaps more popular today than it has ever been. Founder members of The Blues Band, Paul Jones and Dave Kelly’s roots go way back into the undergrowth of the tradition.

"As well as their own original material, they not only perform the work of the greats, ranging from Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker through to Sonny Boy Williamson – they have actually played alongside them, and enjoyed their friendship."

The spokesman added: "After over 25 years as presenter of his BBC Radio 2 R&B show, thrilling singer and harmonica maestro Paul Jones is a true bluesman. The same can be said about Dave Kelly. He’s played with them all,."

The date is Saturday, February 1 at 7.30pm.
