THREE separate crashes on parts of a Flintshire expressway have caused rush hour delays on Monday morning.
At least five vehicles have been involved in collisions in the A55 in Flintshire over three different incidents within the space of hour.
The most recent incident involves one lane closed and queueing traffic due to eastbound route of the North Wales Expressway due to accident between two vehicles as well as a broken-down vehicle from J32A (Pentre Halkyn) to J33 (Northop).
It has resulted in lane two (of two) being closed as of 9.40am.

Strong glare from the sun reported in the area so please drive carefully.
The first incident sparked delays after a three-vehicle crash during rush hour in Northop.
The exit slip road on the A55 expressway eastbound was partially blocked after a collision involving three vehicles this morning, Monday.
Slow traffic remained at junction 33 Northop Road (A5119) but cleared by 9am.
Traffic log INRIX reports: “These are residual delays from the accident that happened on the main A55 and has now been to the exit slip.”
Traffic Wales reports that the incident occurred shortly before 8.40am, with the lanes cleared around 15 minutes just before 8.55am.
A second incident occurred on the westbound side of the expressway following a collision near J32 Holywell, however delays were minimal in this area according to traffic logs.
In a social media post alerting motorists of the delays, Traffic Wales said that a ‘strong glare from the sun’ is reported in the area and urged people to drive carefully.
All earlier RTC's from J32 Holywell - J33 Northop on the #A55 have now been cleared and all lanes of the carriageway in both directions are open.
