The young actors of The Festival Players are on the lookout for some new members as they prepare for their next production.

The Festival Players are presenting Agatha Christie’s Spider's Web in Broadway, Bidford, at Evesham Arts Centre and at Number 8 in Pershore in the summer – as usual ,with an entirely teenage cast.

Director Eric Jones said: "Having just got over their free pantomime production in December at the Evesham Town Hall, the teenagers have met to read through the script of their next play .

"Spider’s Web is the second most successful play of the 1950s, by Agatha Christie, after the record-breaking The Mousetrap.

"If there is any young actor out there who might like to be in the play there is at least one role as yet unfilled.

"Rehearsals are once a week, at the moment, and always full of fun and enthusiasm.  Any teenager doing drama or performing arts who wants to take part in a play, on stage, in front of four audiences is welcome to come along and try for the part.

"Previous productions by this group have included Dick Whittington, And Then There Were None and The Comedy of Errors."
