A fundraiser is being held for a Nailsworth man who was paralysed after falling off a ladder.
John Taylor-Bowen suffered a heart attack while working in August 2017. Falling 20 feet onto concrete, he broke his neck and back, causing permanently paralysis from the waist down.
Following the accident a fund was set up by wellwishers to pay for John to have regular physiotherapy.
Now, another fundraising event is being held. A disco night is taking place at Egypt Mill from 7.30pm-11.30pm on Saturday, February 29.
There will be music from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as a one course dinner.
Tickets cost £16 and are available from Buskins Shoe Shop or by calling 07710 872295.
