Chineham Medical Practice has reopened after they were forced to close by Public Health England for a "routine precautionary check".
Residents were told to leave the premesis as two members of the infection control team conducted a deep clean focusing mostly on the waiting room and reception area.
A spokesperson from the Chineham Medical Practice has confirmed that it is "all back to normal".
They said: "With patient safety priority, NHS North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group can confirm that Chineham Medical Practice carried out on site cleaning yesterday as a strictly precautionary measure.
"All the practice's usual services are running as normal today and yesterday's contingency plans enabled them to maintain GP services and home appointments.
"We would like to apologise to any patients who were inconvenienced in any way".
The Gazette reached out to Public Health England who declined to comment, stating they 'don't provide a running commentatry' on these issues.
