THE Body Shop in Broadway is hoping to start a conversation around period poverty in Bradford.
It has just launched a new fight to create a station with free sanitary products in public toilets in shopping centres, community places and public bathrooms.
A new drop-off point for supplies is now open at the store.
Micha Mclaren, store manager at The Body Shop in The Broadway, explained: "It's really opened my eyes that people are using tissues.
"We've got to support people that are on a lower income.
"When I looked into it - we've done a survey for women and girls in Bradford - we've found there's not so much a shame but more a stigma around the products not being available and having the cost with them.
"That's what I want to change."
Shoppers are welcome to drop off supplies in store from now.
