Pershore’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre was packed for the exciting finale of this year’s W-Factor competition.
The event saw young people from across Wychavon compete in front of family and friends for the accolade of being crowned a winner in one of the four categories.
The four winners were:
Singing Under 15s Category: Amy Hodges, aged 14, from Evesham.
Singing Over 15s Category: Madison Clayton, aged 17, from Pershore.
Dance Category: Poppy Haughton, aged 17, from Droitwich.
Music Category: Amelia Wood, aged 15, from Droitwich.

Cllr Rob Adams, portfolio holder for Community, Engagement, Culture and Sport at Wychavon District Council, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this year’s W-Factor.
"The young people who took part are so talented and their passion for the performing arts really shone through. Although not everyone could be selected as a winner, every participant should be very proud of themselves for getting through to the final stage of the competition.”
After the judges' deliberations, during which last year’s over 15s winner Sophie Gilbert provided the entertainment, Chairman of Wychavon, Cllr Frances Smith gave out trophies and Cllr Adams gave out certificates.
