INVESTIGATIONS continue after 71-year-old Thomas Surber went missing from his home in Bricklehampton, Pershore.

Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team tweeted: "We have been distributing missing person posters to raise public awareness in hope to find Thomas Surber, please can we ask you to check garden sheds and outbuildings. We are concerned for the welfare of this missing gentleman."

They also tweeted: "Please view one of our posters that are up around Evesham / Pershore and recall your steps. Where you in Pershore on February 27 about 1.30pm. Did you see Thomas?"

"We have on-going police searches and would ask that the public to stay clear of the search as there is some residual flood water in the area."

He was last seen walking towards Little Comberton on Friday (February 28) at 2.30pm.

Mr Surber is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft 2in tall, with white hair and was last seen wearing a light blue jacket.

He left his home at around 1pm on Friday and was seen a short while later at 2.30pm walking towards Little Comberton.

Anyone who has seen Thomas is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 339s of 280220.
