PROSECUTORS have dropped a sexual assault charge relating to an alleged incident in Bowness.
Antony Francis Rice, of Woolton Road in Garston, Liverpool, had been charged with sexual assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 59-year-old was alleged to have committed the offences in Bowness on July 14 of last year.
Rice pleaded guilty to ABH and not guilty to the sexual assault. After examining the evidence prosecutors dropped the sexual assault charge and Rice will be sentenced at a date to be confirmed.
