THE Bluebell girls took time out from appearing in the Ken Dodd show at Blackpool Opera House to mark the official opening of Blackburn’s newest pub in 1966. Uncle Tom’s - named after the brewery’s founder, Thomas Dutton, was situated inside the new Dutton’s Brewery and the glamorous dancers went behind the bar as part of the opening watched by Dutton’s managing director, Mr J A R Kay
