POLICE are investigating a series of break-ins over the Easter weekend in villages near Pershore.

Someone broke into to stable blocks in Brickyard Lane, Drakes Broughton, some time between 8pm on Thursday, April 9, and noon the following day.

Doors and locks were damaged before tools and a silver Carrera mountain bike were stolen.

Later on Good Friday, a weather station was stolen from a back garden in Eckington, Pershore.

Thieves took the instrument some time between 10pm on Friday and 11.45am on Saturday, April 11.

The incident reference is 0270-S-110420.

The same night, burglars stole a number of power tools from a shed in Kington and also forced the padlock off a second shed, although nothing was stolen from there.

The incident happened between 10.30pm on Good Friday and Saturday.

The incident reference is 221-S-110420.

Someone also broke into a garden shed in the village overnight between 1am and 10.30am on Saturday, removing the window pane, although nothing appears to have been taken.
