POLICE are appealing for information after burglars broke into a store and fled the scene in a BMW.
The burglary took place at the Co-Op in Honeybourne at around 1.20am this morning (April 14).
Offenders broke into the store in Station Road and left in a BMW, which then headed towards Broadway.
SouthWorcsProactiveCID Tweeted: “Did you witness this? Do you live locally and have CCTV? Any information would be a great help.”
A Co-op spokesman said: “There was an incident in the early hours of this morning when intruders entered our Honeybourne store, causing damage before fleeing with a small quantity of cigarettes after security systems including CCTV, lighting and alarms were activated.
"Police are investigating, and we appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
"The store has since re-opened to serve the community.”
