THE number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Worcestershire has reached 1,139.
The figures, released daily by the government, are broken down by upper tier local authorities and are correct as of 5.49pm this evening, (May 1).

The total number of lab-confirmed UK cases stands at 177,454.
In neighbouring areas, Birmingham has 2,844, Warwickshire has 1,164, Herefordshire has 302, and Gloucestershire has 1,214 confirmed cases.
