CHANCELLOR of the Duchy of Lancaster Michael Gove said the government’s “comprehensive plan”, to be revealed this week, will explain “how we can get our economy moving”.

At the latest daily press conference, held this afternoon, the Cabinet Office minister said the plan would show: “how we can get our children back to school, how we can travel to work more safely and how we can make life in the workplace safer”.

But he warned lockdown restrictions could only be eased when the government’s five tests were met.

The minister added a new contact tracing app will be piloted on the Isle of Wight this week.
