AMCOR Flexibles, a global packaging manufacturer with a base in Evesham, has been helping fight the spread and impact of Covid-19 through product donations and community support.
As part of the group's global commitment to donate $5,000 through each of the company's 250 sites across the world, the management team at Amcor Evesham asked staff to come up with suggestions for which causes to contribute to.
They decided to support the Evesham Community Hospital by donating supplies of moisturising hand creams and lip balms to those working there, as well as donating to the Evesham Adventure Playground, which will use the money to provide activity packs and food parcels for local families and to help their return to work plans.
Money was also given to Acorn’s Children’s Hospice and St Richard’s Hospice to help offset the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
