THIS is the illuminated love heart sign which says a big thank you to NHS workers at Worcester hospital during the coronavirus crisis.
The two metre high letters of the light-up 'love NHS sign' made by Christmas Decorators have been placed in front of Worcestershire Royal Hospital’s main entrance. Paul Chester of Christmas Decorators, based in Kempsey, said: "We have felt limited with the support we can offer during the Covid-19 crisis but it has brought us all great pleasure, across the UK to thank our local hospitals for their hard work and commitment during this difficult time. "The ‘loveNHS’ sign was created and first installed at Liverpool Aintree Hospital four weeks ago. Since then, it has travelled around the country and brought a little light (excuse the pun) and a smile to 10 hospitals across the UK."
The sign arrived at Worcester on Wednesday and will remain for a week before its journey continues and it ends up at its final destination, Parliament Square.
