A FLORAL tribute has been left to a man who died after being found with stab wounds in Boscombe Chine Gardens.

As reported, James Cutting, aged 31 and from Bournemouth, was located by officers on the evening of Tuesday, June 30.

Detectives are continue to investigate Mr Cutting's death.

A bunch of colourful flowers were left by the path through Boscombe Chine Gardens earlier this week.

A note with the tribute, which was placed earlier this week near the southern end of the gardens, read: "Be free my angel."

As reported, a trial date has been set for the teenager who is accused of Mr Cutting's murder.

He has also been charged with attempted murder in relation to another man who was found with injuries to his neck and face on the evening of June 30.

The 16-year-old from London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at a preliminary hearing at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, July 9.

He did not enter any pleas and is next due to appear at the same court on Thursday, August 20. A trial date was fixed for January 4, 2021.

The latest details on people arrested in detectives' investigations remains as follows:

A 31-year-old Bournemouth woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A 49-year-old man from Bournemouth previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs has also been re-arrested and further questioned by detectives. Both have been released under investigation.

A 20-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of murder and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs was released under investigation for the drugs offence, but faces no further police action in relation to the alleged murder.

A 19-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and assisting an offender was released on police bail.

A 43-year-old man from Oxford arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs was released under investigation.

A 42-year-old Christchurch man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was released under investigation.
