A CHARITY has been given a funding boost to the tune of £7,000.
Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire said the money from a Severn Trent Water (STW) saving water campaign would go "along way to helping support people across our area".
Last month STW set the water saving challenge and committed to give a a percentage of £1m to local charities for every 150 million litres of water demand reduced, on an average daily basis, over the period to the end of June.

Midlands charities on the frontline of the Covid-19 response were chosen to benefit, with Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire selected.
Magda Praill chief operating officer of the charity, said: “We know that people across our areas may be in need of more support or may need more support than before so this kind donation from Severn Trent is invaluable to help us support those people.
"Thank you to everyone who did their bit to save water.”
