A MAN died on railway tracks near Droitwich on Saturday.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “We were called at 12.34pm on Saturday to an area of railway in Droitwich Spa, following a report of a casualty on the tracks. Officers attended, but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
We previously reported on rail travel delays between Droitwich and Worcester, which lasted until around 4pm on Saturday evening.
National Rail said at the time: "Trains are now running normally following the emergency services having dealt with an incident between Droitwich Spa and Worcester Foregate Street / #Worcester Shrub Hill."
