POOLE High Street is very well marked, with “Keep left” and “Keep your distance” signs clearly visible every few metres. The same applies in the Dolphin Centre.
It is frustrating to observe that a very large minority of people are totally ignoring these signs. People walk all across the street and in front of the railway crossing. As I came out of the Dolphin the other day, via the door clearly marked “No entry”, someone barged into me, going into the centre.
Yesterday morning I lined up to visit a bank, two metres from the person in front, with the person behind me at two metres distance. Within five minutes, three women, aged from early 20s to early 60s, walked straight through the gap between the two of us. I despair.
