A WEST Yorkshire Police officer, who has featured in both Police Interceptors and Traffic Cops, is "moving on to pastures new" after more than 12 years.
PC Michael Wroe (6346), an officer in the Roads Policing Unit for more than a dozen years, says goodbye this weekend.
The officer, who joined the force itself back in 2004, has appeared in a number of episodes of popular TV shows, Police Interceptors and Traffic Cops (both on Channel 5), over the years.
His profile on the Police Interceptors page states his favourite action film is Terminator 2.
The officer's preferred car is the Vauxhall Vectra VXR and his most-loved sporting team is the Ashes cricket squad of 2005.
PC Wroe leaves his role as a traffic cop as a well-qualified officer.
He holds the following force qualifications to his name: Advanced, TPAC (Tactical Pursuit and Containment), Police Motorcyclist.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "This weekend we say goodbye to PC 6346 Wroe who is moving on to pastures new.
"Mike has work in Roads Policing for over 12 years and has starred in many episodes of Traffic cops and Police interceptors.
"Good luck Mike in your new role."
