ARTISTS, designers and artisan food producers will be offering their goods once again with the return of The Malvern Arts and Food Market.

The popular market, which is now in its 14th year, will be held alongside the Great Malvern Farmers’ Market from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, August 15.

Located in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory, residents and visitors alike will enjoy the abundance of food, drink, arts and crafts from a variety of local businesses.

Among the food traders there will be bread, meat, fruit and veg, cakes, cider, pickles, preserves, cheese and much more. Artists will be selling jewellery, ceramics, felt work, sculptures, wooden bowls, photography, paintings, textiles and fused glass.

Cllr Sarah Rouse, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are so pleased to be welcoming the Malvern Arts and Food Market to the town once again. It is a great opportunity to support local businesses and to enjoy fresh produce.

“The Malvern Tourist Information Centre, various accommodation providers, attractions, restaurants and shops have also reopened in Great Malvern with special measures in place to ensure a safe visit.”

The markets have been organised by Boffy Arts Markets in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council.
