TWIN sisters from Feckenham have had their locks chopped in aid of a charity providing wigs to cancer patients going through chemotherapy.
Frances and Melissa Walker, both aged 6, decided to donate their hair to the Little Princess Trust, and have also raised over £500 – enough for the charity to make one wig.
The selfless youngsters had 13-inches of their locks cut off at Brogan’s Mini Salon in Astwood Bank on Thursday (August 6).
Proud mum Natasha Walker, aged 30, says explained the idea to her daughters, and they were happy to take on the charity challenge.
She said: “We have lost family members to cancer. It is a chat that you would want to have with kids. Frances and Melissa can tell me exactly why they are doing it.”
