PARENTS formed a long queue today [August 21] outside a children's uniform supplier in the city.
Friday is a drop-in day at Schooltogs in New Street, Worcester, as they have had to complete all orders except those for new starters online, due to Covid.
Parents had previously complained about long waits for orders in a story we published earlier in the week.
A spokesman for Schooltogs said: “Many goods come from China, Pakistan and European countries there have been inevitable delays. However, we now have 98 per cent of all stocks in the business which is credit to the team. Our Worcester store still has over £700,000 worth of stock available even at this late stage.
"We would like to thank our customers for the tremendous feedback we have had and assure those that are still waiting for stock that we are working hard to make sure that we process the orders as soon as possible, whilst operating in a way that keeps colleagues and customers safe.”
